Our fantastic dinner spread at Bäco Mercat: “the salty jowel” coca (guanciale, tomato, ricotta, fried egg), caesar brussels sprouts, “el pesco” bäco (crispy shrimp, sriracha, chive), and “the original” bäco (pork, beef carnitas, salbitxada).
We loved it all, but days later, my thoughts keep going back to that shrimp bäco, and how perfectly the soft, signature bread, breaded fish, crunchy slaw, and subtle heat worked together. I can’t wait to go back to try out more of the menu – and next time, we will definitely be saving room for dessert. (I hope…)
